Carly Tagen-Dye is a Guatemalan-American writer, editor and occasional photographer based in New York City. Currently earning her BFA from Pratt Institute, she writes fiction, nonfiction, music/pop culture criticism and essays.
Her work has appeared in The Augment Review, NY Press, Alma and The Sock Drawer, among others. She is currently the editor-in-chief of Pratt's student newspaper, The Prattler, and has previously been a staff writer/reader for publications such as Heart Eyes Magazine, Patchwork Literary Magazine and Pure Nowhere. Her short story "At The Water's Edge" was a 2021 winner of Cat & Mouse Press' annual short story contest.
