Carly Tagen-Dye is a journalist and writer. She currently covers books and authors for People Magazine, where she works as an editorial assistant, and writes for both print and digital platforms. Her nonfiction has also appeared in NY Press, Latinx in Publishing, and Alma, among other outlets.
Carly's short fiction has appeared in The Sock Drawer and The Augment Review and her novel, All That You Can See, was a finalist for CRAFT's 2022 First Chapters Prize. She has previously done editorial work for The Brooklyn Rail, 826NYC and Patchwork Literary Magazine, and is the co-editor of Between Two Worlds (Entre Dos Mundos), an anthology of writing and art by Guatemalan adoptees.
Carly earned her BFA in writing from Pratt Institute in 2022. She lives in New York City.
